What more can we say!  It's been VERY quiet this week here at the offices, the 'noisy neighbours' have been keeping an extremely low profile for some reason, can't think why!  Mind you some were bleating on that the goal of the season was crap "cos he shinned it".  Well, in the words of Mike 'where's the nearest asylum' Summberbee, "if the ball is in the net it's a goal, no matter how it got there".

In our opinion it was a goal worthy of winning any Derby game, and possibly one of the best goals ever to be scored at Old Trafford. Not necessarily for the technique etc etc which was astonishing, but because of what it meant, the sheer occasion, the fact it was the winning goal and that it came at a time in the game when citteh had just equalised and were looking to capitalise on that. This goal took the wind out of their sails completely. Beautiful.

In other great news today, Sir Ryan of Giggs has signed a new one year extension to his deal making it an amazing 21 years in the United first team, and Patrice Evra has also signed a new deal which is brilliant.  Let's hop Scholesy decides to go down the same path as Ryan and not that of another of the Class of '92, Gary Neville, who sadly decided to hang his boots up last week.  It's the United way to see young lads come through the ranks and perform in the first team and win trophies and hopefully that will always be the philosophy.  Certainly the future is looking bright again when you see the emergence of the new generation of kids like King, Pogba, Keane, Tunnicliffe and Morrison.  All very highly rated and all with excellent prospects of making it.  Hopefully we will see some of these lads involved in tomorrow's FA Cup tie v Crawley at Old Trafford keeping the United tradition flying high.

So if you're going to the game tomorrow, cher on the lads and let's hope for a great game!
