This month we have a very rare shirt to offer you.  Steve Bruce's shirt from Mark Hughes' Testimonial game v Celtic held at Old Trafford in May 1994.

  • The Mark Hughes Testimonial match was played against Celtic at Old Trafford on the 16th May 1994. 
  • The game was played to a sold out 42,709 crowd at Old Trafford where Celtic won the match 3-1.
  • The United team that day was as follows:  Schmeichel, P. Neville, Bruce, Keane, Blackmore, Sharpe, Butt, McClair, Giggs, Dublin, Hughes.  Subs: Walsh, Sealey, Cantona, Phelan, Whitworth
  • The shirt carries special embroidery to mark the occasion under the United badge on the shirt
  • Dion Dublin scored united's only goal after 40 minutes in the first half.  He was later to go on and sign for Celtic as did Roy Keane whose own Testimonial game was also versus Celtic, as was Brian McClair's Testimonial as he was another player who had also previously been a Celtic player.
